The "Grey One" Rolleiflex 3,5T
It's my first camera bought in 1991 in a junk shop for 150 euros (the very first one was a Zenith E with a nice Helios who died in 1990). It was as new in the box without any kind of sign of use. I took something like 10 rollfilm with it: the tessar 3,5 is really nice. Lack of use...glued blades in 2000 full CLA (by myself in
2000). I made a little nick on the waist lever finder but quite perfect under the dust
I collect cameras since 1990, I use to buy and sell them to reach "upper model", I'll only list my current cameras and lenses (arround 100 cameras now I used and sold arround 300 cameras). I gave up with collecting them with the increasing of digital and sold 80% of them in 2005.
One day in 2007, an ex-customer from my shop, a camera collector who became a friend called Jean ARRIGNON phoned me to meet ourselves and...offered me arround 40 cameras and lenses ! (alpa 5 with switar, kinoptik, berthiot and zeiss lenses, RF, contax, teleroy, 4x4, 6x6,...and a mac Keown's) Incredible for me, he explained that he was expecting to find someone who would keep them: a real collector without any "business interrest"in mind : that was the beginning of a new interrest in paleo-digitals
